In an effort to minimise disruption to IT services and users, as well as protecting our systems, a failed key component will be replaced today between 3pm and 5.30pm. All systems need to be shut down in order to replace the part and waiting for a more convenient time isn't feasible, due to the importance of the failed part and the requirement to replace it as soon as possible.
Staff laptop users can use their laptops, but will be unable to connect to any networked resources and services.
Apologies for the short notice, but this window has been deemed preferable for many reasons.
This scheduled maintenance affected: Office 365 (Email, Office Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams), Common Services (Internet services, Print and Copy, College Website, Parent Evening System, Moodle, Remote Access System, Central Resources Library, My Documents, Cash loader, Online payments, Audio Visual), Networking infrastructure (Wireless, Switching and cabling), and Administration systems (Telephony, SIMS services, Schoolcomms, Room Bookings, Finance system, FinanceHelp, Maintenance, Helpdesk, GeneralAdmin, Impero, Door Access System, Evolve).
